When testing a website on mobile using a local IP, Chrome cache can sometimes show old CSS, JavaScript, or images even after the files are updated.
1. Use Chrome Incognito mode for testing.
2. Clear the site data/cache for the local IP if changes are not showing.
3. Add a version number to CSS and JavaScript files, for example: style.css?v=1.2.
4. If using Chrome remote debugging, enable Disable cache in DevTools.
5. Reload the page or restart Chrome after clearing the cache if required.
For regular testing, using file versioning together with Incognito mode is usually the easiest and most reliable method.
